Langkawi, Malaysia

Arriving to the island yesterday, I figured out that Langkawi is not a big island. By car or scooter you can easily get around the whole island to visit the most important attractions. A few hours ago I managed to rent a scooter and tomorrows schedule is already set. I can't wait to get on the road. Hopefully I don't crash into anyone or anything and that I manage to stay on the left side of the road.

This day started early, of course. A van was waiting for us to take us to the closest harbor. A big diving boat was waiting for us and a hundred of Chinese tourists. I have to admit that they are a bit funny and they always do and say crazy things. Entertainment people! First, we dropped off all the snorkelers to the island called Pulau Payar, before we continued our trip to our first stop, the Coral Garden. After a short break at the beach, we continued to our next dive spot, Shark Point. Unfortunately, the only sharks I could catch with my camera was at the surface near the beach. Under the surface on the other hand, we managed to spot a huge barracuda. First I got excited, I mean the fish was huge. But after it had circulated around us a few laps, and it came up close, I got a bit scared. The day in total was successful and it all continues tomorrow with new adventures.
